My family and I moved to Cicero in 1981 and have loved being part of this church family. I have enjoyed helping in a practical way and being part of a team while serving others. I helped my late husband, Lloyd, coordinate multiple international mission trips involving our Cicero church. It has been a blessing to be able to go on 16 mission projects. God has blessed in helping to spread the gospel through these many trips. All three of my children have attended IA and two of them CAES.

I enjoy looking at the big picture, problem-solving, and helping projects come to life. This has included the CAES and the church kitchen renovations, coordinating Journey to Bethlehem costumes, sewing the props for the tabernacle, constructing the bulletin boards, and other projects. Spending time doing an in-depth Sabbath school lesson study has helped me grow in His love. I enjoy spending time with my 6 grandchildren, sewing, quilting, and gardening.  I thank God for how he has guided in my life, loved me, and filled my life with joy.
